I was born to a furniture maker and a social worker in 1986 in Lowell Massachusetts, a historic city of giant brick mills and   factories along the Merrimack River. As my parents, Peter and Linda, raised their children, they also built a business. As I grew, the business grew. We moved to Gardner, Massachusetts, and then a few years later to our current home in Winchendon, Massachusetts. Now I’m 30 years old and handling lots of aspects of the business myself. Mom and Dad are still steering the ship though. I am proud of the culture we have created around our people and our community. We are one of the largest employers in an area hit hard by the past decade’s economic downturn. We have successfully provided 60 American craftsmen with jobs for over 30 years now, through good times and bad. We have survived by sticking to the values that this company was founded on, making the highest quality furniture with the highest quality people, from an area steeped in the tradition of woodworking.. Our furniture is made from the solid hardwood maple, cherry, and oak trees that the Northeast United States is known for. The Saloom family looks forward to serving your family.
